So, you have little money to invest and many years to go until retirement.

You have always heard about different people making money out of the real estate investments in foreign countries.

You would like to do the same but you think that you don’t have enough money and the courage is missing too.

Also, the prices increased so much everywhere in the world that you think there is no way to make a profit out of little money.

You have a mortgage, a new car and loads of bills to pay.

This is no news; we all do :)

However there is still a way to make easy money from real estate, but it takes some time until you see the results.

First thing to know is, that the real estate developers will never cease to expand their investments;

it is their business. Even if they don’t sell right away due to different causes such as location, they will eventually sell, because everything sales.

Nowadays, the worst thing to do is to invest in buildings (flats, villas, condominiums, you name it), because it is too risky; of course depending on the location. The real estate market fluctuation will never stop so if you are a beginner with little money in your pocket, is not a wise thing to do.

Buying land is the only solution, thanks to the real estate developers that I mentioned above.

Think about a real estate developer as about a greedy person who wants more and more, and the more he gets the more he wants.

That works into your advantage.

There are few countries left where the price of the land is still low: few countries in Eastern Europe, Central and South America and few countries in Asia, but if you ask me I’d never even get close to buying property in Asia. (Personal reasons)

Do not try to buy in areas where residential property is already built or about to be built. You won’t have the money and if you do, don’t expect the prices to rise that much.

The idea is to buy a lot and I mean “a lot” of land in a bit remote areas where the developers will eventually get in 3 to 8 years. The closest the land is to residential developments the dearest it is.

Do not over due it. Don’t buy it in the middle of nowhere, because it may take longer than 10 years to sell it.

If you buy, let’s say for the sake of the argument 50,000 square meters for 2 Euros per square meter, you should expect in few years when the real estate developers will get there and set their eyes on your land, the price per square meter to have increased at least by 5 to 10 times .

That means for 100,000 Euros invested you will make a minimum of 500,000 Euros; that’s more than any bank, or pension scheme can do for you. It all depends on your luck but there is no way not to make a big profit.

A small and valuable piece of land bought today it will never make you a huge profit. The price may increase of course, but because the plot is too little the profit is small too. Nobody wants to build on expensive land except if the land is located in good areas of a city or in areas highly frequented by tourists. And that plots aren’t few Euros per square meter :)

I did it before and I’m still doing it.

When you decide to make the investment, by all means do not go to a famous well known estate agency, because they have their own investments and they will never give you the right advice as where to buy. Trust me if they will know the location of a land that can be bought cheap and with high returns of investment on the long term, they will buy it for themselves.

Look for a small and humble agency, “family like” that will be happy to put you on the right direction, being self suffice with the commission paid to them by you.
