The project Punta Colonet also creates a new city in Baja California. It is hoped that the activities of the port will generate relatively well-paid jobs.
Punta Colonet is one of the great natural opportunities for economic development in Mexico. This project could take up to 6 years to finalize.

Hi, I have only a few questions.
The area that i would be interested in is close to your Google earth pin that says 31- 100 the coordinates are 3 09 28.39n, 116 18 36.28w. simply cut and paste this to the search in Google earth . Is this close to you property for sale? Is there beach front other than the 20 meter federal land. Has it been privatized or is it still Ejido land. If Ejido land what Ejido controls it? Is it possible to get title insurance on the land. Could the land be purchased in 5-hectare parcels?
Thanks any info would help. And by the way, from all the reading I’ve been doing on the port project from the beginning, April 2005, it seems as though the port will not be going in because of Hutchinson Holdings and Union Pacific backing out, the modernization of Lazarus Cardenas port, the mining interests in the bay of Colonet and most importantly the expansion of the Panama Canal.
