Marrakech Jardins de L’Agdal new residential developments
By property | February 13, 2008
This is I think a bit out of date investment oportunity in Morroco, Marrakech area.
However I love this place and I thought I’d let other people know about it.
This huge development area at the Atlas Mountains foot hills is always expanding, so those interested should keep an eye on it.
Laying By the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, Jardins de L’Agdal, South of the Royal Palace, Dar El Makhzen, in Marrakech (the capital of the Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz region) are the oldest garden of Marrakech developed in the twelfth century during the reign of Abd al-Moumennear .
The first trees were planted in the twelfth century by the Almohads. Actual garden shape and the walls surrounding it are dating date back to the nineteenth century.
Orange and olive trees are irrigated through several tanks filled with water flowing from the heights of the Atlas’ Mountains.
